Valia Tamvaki

Valia is a theater specialist, researcher and trainer with an MA from the university of Amsterdam in theatre studies and experience in different aspects in the field theater for the last 8 years. She studied acting in Greece with a scholarship and worked as an actress and assistant director in her native city, Thessaloniki. In Amsterdam she has worked as theatre teacher, facilitator of her own workshops called “the mindful play”, event hostess and project manager.

She has participated in various international trainings and her research is focused on the participation of interactive activities and the benefits in individual and group settings. During the last years she has been actively involved in different organizations and one of her projects was nominated as a best practice example by the European Commission.

She has further studies in Human Resources management and coaching, as well as a bachelors degree in economics and politics of the Balkan region. Her interests are around the topics of learning, personal development and the way people experience life events.
